How to change the timer for rotating desktop backgrounds in Ubuntu 11.10

When I right click and choose "Change Desktop Background" in my Ubuntu 11.10 installation (clean installation), one of the options is "Contest" which rotates through desktop backgrounds throughout the day.

I'd like to be able to configure the amount of time it stays on a desktop background, but I can't find any settings to do so. I'm guessing they have it coded in somewhere, so that it rotates more frequently during certain times, and less frequently at others. However, I'd like to be able to set it to a specific amount of time (12 hours, 1 day, etc).

Any advice on where to look, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, and have a great day:)
Patrick.

Assuming the same as 10.10 (which I am on) if you hover your mouse over the collection it will give you a path and inside the path is an xml file
which controls the timing and the selection of pictures.

In fact if you want to create your own I did up a little script (see attached)

Hi!
I cannot download these files anymore :(
I've written a small script on my own. You'll find it (and further updates of it) here: http://aypac.de/?p=projects#desktopbg

To understand what this script does, I recommend reading: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi....php?p=5304452
