how to burn in dvd in terminal


hello I have install a ubuntu server 5,10 and it has a dvd burnder, so now i want to burn my backup files and the files are 4.3 GB. How would i burn it by which program?

man mkisofs
man cdrecord

I am not understanding the mkisofs, there too many option and right now i am really having a headach during this month, for known reason

well i want to burn a file call 20050927data08 (size 4.3 GB)
