Qemu or Virtual Box should be in the repos, but if you are not authorised to install software you won't have the password necessary to install software if it's been locked down.

Virtualbox is in the repo's but it does not load in a terminal. I will now try Qemu which I have never used before..
Qemu does load in a terminal but cannot be found in the software.
