How do I edit start-up items?
For some reason, whenever I start a new session, about 4 or 5 instances of KFTPGrabber open up. I don't know why, and I didn't configure it to start-up on start up. How do I edit the start-up items so it doesn't do this?

Its been a while since I used KDE and that was with SuSE but if my memory is correct their is a hidden directory in your /home/{user} that deals with programs started with KDE. Given the name its probably in that class. Access may also be buried somewhere in the Control Center.

There are a bunch of (.*) folders, which one?
What would be the filetype of the startup file?

~/.kde/Autostart.
Another solution may be that KDE is saving your session, so it opens any applications that you had open when you quit. Make sure that you kill any KFTPGrabber processes before you quit KDE. It might be necessary to open a terminal, and use:
Code:
killall -9 kftpgrabber
or use "ps aux" to get the PID of the processes and use "kill".
I hope this helps

I went there, and there was one file, .directory. I opened it, and there was a long list of things, but I didn't see anything related to KFTPGrabber.
I went into the process table, and there were 4 KFTPGrabber processes running, so I killed them all. How come it doesn't fully close? I went to File > Exit rather than just clicking the "x" box, so now it shouldn't come up anymore?

No, it still starts up 4 times at log on, and there are no KFTPGrabber processes running. I tried to ran the command, but it said "no process running". So what else could it be?
