How can I customize Ubuntu/xfce like xubuntu?

I've install xfce4 in a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. However, the default configuration doesn't look nice.

How can I customize it like default xubuntu desktop? Borrow config files from a xubuntu distro will do job?

Instead of installing XFCE install the package xubuntu-desktop, this will ad the standard Xubuntu XFCE (including all programs) to your system.
