I hope that this does'nt sound really stupid but i'm new to linux and all that, so, when i'm booting unbuntu(5.10) "starting hotplug systems" never comes up as "o.k.". Should i be concerned with this, and what exactly are hotplug systems? can anyone help?
Hotplug sounds like you possess a hot swappable device. Meaning that you can swap out a piece of hardware without having to shut down your computer. Really not sure if I would be too concerned about this failure during the bootup process.
