HELP: System Program Problem Detected
1 Attachment(s)
Installed Ubuntu 18.04.3 on an HP Laptop (HP 17-By0062cl) today.
I partitioned the laptop and installed Win10 first then Ubuntu (650GB Win/350GB Ubuntu). Dual Booting with Grub. There are no issues booting to either OS. However, On occasion when booting to Ubuntu I receive error.... "System Program Problem Detected" Do you want to report the problem now? Cancel or Report Problem I select "report problem", the error window closes and it seems to run fine and no further error until the next reboot. I did install Grub Customizer to re-arrange the boot order (wanted Win10 to be first then Ubuntu second) which worked fine and as mentioned no dual boot issues just that popup in Ubuntu. I have done system updates. How can I determine the cause and eliminate this popup? Thanks. F Attachment 32035 Found Resolution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GYgrnZUI6Q |
I see you stated that you've solved this.
Having not watched the youtube video. Was the solution that Windows 10 needed to be shut down a certain way? |
I too rarely watch linked videos, but this one has value beyond simple (?) restatement. Some (most ?) might mis-understand the issue/resolution were it to be further debated here.
Let those affected/interested go look. |
