Thumbs down hangs at boot!


i have the live cd and it boots fine.... into it gets to creating user... im not doing this... the boot is doing this......

it gets to 63% of creating user... and it never went on...? i let it sit for 10 or 15 minits and it just stood there? what is wrong?

AMD Athlon, 1667 MHz
Memor 480MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce2 Integrated GPU

p.s i reburnd the iso and it still gets to 63%

Have you checked the md5sum of the iso yet ?

I had the same problem with an install of XP,it would boot so far then the hard drive would shut down for 3+mins. After some research I found out it my usb mouse. If nothing else works you may want to try unplugging all your usbs and reboot.

Well, if you're not able to provide anything more in the way of even slightly useful information, then we really can't do the same in return.

The best thing you can do right now, is read, read, read, and play around with your system.
