Gtk-WARNING **: Impossible to find the «smooth» theme engine in module_path

hello,

it's a long time that terminal repeat this error message:

Gtk-WARNING **: Impossible to find the «smooth» theme engine in module_path

from the Ubuntu Intrepid release (i'm using jaunty) the GTK+ theme smooth is deprecated and it's substituted with the gtk2-engines pakage, obviously I've already installed the gtk2-engines but the error message << Gtk-WARNING **...>> is continuing to be shown from the terminal...

does anyone have olready solved this kind of issue?

Hi Maiden2, I have a similar problem. I have recently upgraded to Jaunty 9.04 and likewise are having problems with the the gtk2 smooth theme. In fact I can't even start the 'serpentine' application due to this. Error messages vary depending on which theme I choose, but look something like . . .

(serpentine:25713): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "smooth",

Anyone else been down this path?
