Grub Stage 2 Loading..
I know similar questions have been asked, but, none specifically asking what I want to ask.

I'm dual booting OS X with Ubuntu, and therefore already have the Mac Boot loader (BootCamp).

Also, whenever I choose to load Linux it tries to load Grub (understandably,) which gets stuck at loading stage 2.

However, I don't really need Grub. More specifically, I don't want it. it's unecessary since I already have the boot loader, is there a way for me to remove grub and get it to directly load linux? otherwise, can I just fix Grub somehow?

You say it "gets stuck" - are there any error messages?

Never used a Mac but in some light googling about "Boot Camp & Linus" everything I saw said it was not supported. Boot Camp is designed to boot later versions of xp and vista and the most common way of booting Linux is a wubi install of Ubuntu in windows. That being said, I found sites indicating it was possible do boot Linux without tri-booting with windows but no real details. I doubt Boot Camp can boot Linux and I expect it does something like chainloading and you will need Grub. That's speculation on my part as I've not used it.
