Grub Loader
I installed a version of windows on one partition, then linux on a second and linux asked me if I wanted to install grub loader, so I did. I just reformated the windows partitioned and reinstalled a diff. version of windows, but now my computer just goes straight into windows. Any idea how to get grub loader working again?
Thanks.

Boot from your install disk and reinstall GRUB bootloader.

Tried doing that, but it wanted me to partition space for some reason. I just hit go back and went straight to load grub boot loader, and it kept saying it failed and kept taking me to the partitioning table. I don't wanna reinstall, I just wanna install grub loader.

It is of course well known that Windows installs don't 'play nice' with other partitions but just over-write the mbr with their own loader.
Which is why of course you can't just edit the grub file.
However, why don't you just boot from your rescue floppy (you did make one, right?)
and then reinstall grub?

oh, the command path you will need is
/sbin/grub-install /dev/hda
where hda is your first partition, so check that, might be hda1.
