gnome-panel crashing loop on start up

...i have ubuntu breezy and its been ok for a while
...recently my gnome-panel started to crash on startup-but not if i log in as another user! It prompts me with error sth. like: "gnome-panel quited ..." and then when it starts to recover it " gnome detected already runing gnome-panel" and it starts the loop...

basicly the same thing as in post:

i tried same things as Ibanez88 (uper link):
i tired to reinstal it - didnot help!
i tried to remove al .gnome and .conf and .metacity .nautilus directory ...didnot help!

...unfortuantely i dont know what could be the reason for such behaviour, so ...any further suggestions?

Since you have already started over pretty much, have you tried removing your ~/.gnome2 directory? That's where your sessions and desktop settings are stored, not in ~/.gnome. Keep in mind when you do this, it will remove any customizations you have made thus far.
