Question GMail Runs HTML Mode In Konqueror && Flash Player for konqueror!!!! Need Help...


hello everyone...
I'm using konqueror as my web browser...
when i sign in to my google mail account it runs as HTML Mode...
but i want to runs as Standard Mode...
when i want to do this it tells me " You Don't have a supported Web Browser..."

please guide me how i can make my konqueror as a supported web browser for GMail ???

and an other question...
I'm downloaded adobe flash player for linux...
i can install it for firefox and opera...
but i don't know how i can install it (flash player) for konqueror...
please guide me for this...

In Konqueror goto: Settings--> Configure Konqueror--> Plugins. Click the Scan for New Plugins button, look through the list, if you don't see any reference to the flash-plugin click the New button and type: /usr/lib/flash-plugin/ click ok and try your gmail again.

well I do not use Konq for web but in firefox...if you turn off javascript gmail complains....so check if you have javascript enabled as well pls

thanks...
I added /usr/lib/flash-plugin/ to my konqueror plugins...
now it shows me flash animations...
but i cant sign in to my gmail in standard mode yet...
i checked my javascripts settings ...
it's on as default...

so my problem is not about java-scripts...

Please help me to solve my problem...

I just tried to login using Konq and got the basic view but I never saw any error message first go.

so b4 you go into ....pull down tools / change web browser id ...and make it /other/ firefox 1.5 or higher

also re-check javascript and cookies are enabled pls

2) WHEN I got in using konq in basic mode I then changed id and clicked on standard and it worked...but not sure if that is the only thing wrong with your settings.

BTW IMHO konq as a browser is slooooow
