Getting Gutsy going

I just want to say that I have finally got Gutsy running after two days of crashing around. I had previously tried to get Dapper going as a clean install on a fab unused but now aging pc. Am thrilled that sound juicer works right off. Small things I know but they matter when taking the first tentative footsteps away from Bill. Gutsy still doesn't want to run on my iiyama e1900 wide screen, any clues gratefully received.

Hi, and welcome to LQ!

Since it has an actual question attached I'll move your
intro to the Ubuntu forum.

Cheers,
