Getting GOK to work on Ubuntu 5.04

I'm running Ubuntu 5.04 with all packages updated. I have gotten my tablet working competely finally last night. And now today I'm installing a on-screen keyboard so i can work with the screen covering the keyboard. I used the package manager to install gok and the doc for it. But whenever I try to start gok nothing happens. Tried running it from a console and go the following:
Code:
bb002@tabpc:~$ gok

** ERROR **: Could not locate registry
aborting...
Aborted
bb002@tabpc:~$
Any ideas?

Now everytime I login GOK complains about a new pointer device and want to activate sticky keys and take over the system pointer.

If i so ok to activate whenever i press two keys i get asked if i wish to turn off sticky keys.
