get rid of fluxbox and go back to ubuntu's default window manager
 
Hello there,

I was given a pc with ubuntu running fluxbox which i want to get rid of and go back to the ubuntu's default window manager...(yeah the orangy one;-))

How do i do that?

If Gnome is not in the login session list, you can add it with the following:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

how can i tell if ubuntu-desktop is already installed or not? i cannot see the login screen at all....

ubuntu-desktop is currently installed but how do i "swap" to that from fluxbox?!

At the login screen (gdm), you can click Sessions to choose between Fluxbox and Gnome.
