gcc


hai,
i am using ubuntu 6.06.
how should i compile a c/c++ program.
previosly in ubuntu 5.10 i used the command gcc and g++,
but they are not working in ubuntu 6.06

Did you install them? sudo aptitude install build-essential. If they still don't work, they're probably not in your path.

try this in a terminal:

sudo apt-get install build-essential

Then try gcc.
