[SOLVED] Garmin maps updater run with Wine?

I am waiting on a New Garmin Nuvi 50 LM and suspect it will arrive needing an update. I downloaded everything needed from garmin but was wondering if any of you have tried this using Ubuntu's Wine? Trying to cover all the bases since I will need it this weekend.

I have not done with ubuntu Wine, however, Wine-1.2.3 looked good.

I hope I understand your question correct.

I have found that It cannot be done with wine on Ubuntu and my machine since I don't have 1 gb of RAM, Part of SYS req.
