forum not available half the time -attacks?
 

I cant' connect to ubuntuforums.org half the time I try (about twice a day in the evenings). Is this bc of the high demand (as ubuntu people argue) or bc of some attacks? any info? thanks.

These past few days have been particularly bad, and I don't know why. It seems the forums are down more hours of the day than they're up. I know one time the administration said they were doing upgrades, but that can't explain it all. Something's up... maybe attacks. Maybe their bandwidth is flooded...

What the hell is going on??
I've had trouble a few times this week. Is there someone at ubuntu we can contact to find what the deal is?

just saw this http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=120561 where it says it was an hardware problem. hopefully, that was all it was (my bad grammar? no, my bad vocabulary.)

It's been down again for hours.
Another hardware failure maybe?

May be someone fell asleep and hit the disconnect button, cause I was looking around, closed the browser and a few minutes later came back and the site was and still down.

They started working yesterday after I complained to ubuntu site that they were linking to non-working forum. I have no idea if those two items are related however :)

But yeah, I did finally get to look at some posts there.
