flashing cursor trying to uninstall

I have done my best to try to uninstall ubuntu. I have fdisked and cf disked. I have used a dos bootable cd to try and get windows 98 to boot with no luck. I have gotten it down to a blinking cursor. All that will work is the ubuntu live cd any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced

do you have the windows 98 install disc. You could install from scratch. Otherwise i dont see any way to get 98 back. You can recover data by using the liveCD and then extracting it off of the windows partitions onto a floppy or something..
