Firefox showing history when doing DuckDuckgo search

Hello all, I clear out history and everything plus clear cache when I use firefox. Then I do a search and it shows my history of sites while I'm typing in a search. I don't recal this happening in the past.
If I've cleared history and cache how is firefox showing past sites?

Thanks

Have you disabled that Firefox create a history?
If not, it will still be created.
