Feisty iPod Help

Hi all,
So did a clean install of Feisty when it came out (I was using edgy) and I've had problems with my iPod ever since. When I plugged it in under edgy, the "don't disconnect" screen would come up on the iPod and KDE would ask what did I want to do. But under Feisty, nothing usually happens. Occasionally, it works, but mostly, the ipod doesn't even say "don't disconnect". I checked it on windows and I don't think it's the ipod that's broken. When it doesn't work, fdisk -l doesn't show it, so I can't even mount it thru the console. Any help would be appreciated.
