Kubuntu install omits g++

Hi HT,

Thanks for the info. I used:

$ sudo apt-get install build-essential

to get the other bits and pieces I needed to build my Qt apps, particularly g++. Qt Creator, which I'm taking for a test drive only just today, needs g++ for its builds. Seems g++ doesn't come as standard equipment on Kubuntu's distro, and I wasn't sure how to go about getting g++ without having to download and build the whole damn GNU toolchain (I'm kinda new at this). Your suggestion spared me a lot of anguish. Thanks a bunch!
