Error during update to 7.10

When I try to update from Ubuntu 7.04 to 7.10 I get the following error message:"Error during update"

"A problem occurred during the update. This is usually some sort of network problem, please check your network connection and retry.

Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/di...6/Packages.bz2 Sub-process bzip2 returned an error code (2)
Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/di...6/Packages.bz2 Sub-process bzip2 returned an error code (2)"

I am able to access the internet and even install updates for feisty fawn
without any problems so I can't figure out why this happens. I have tried this several times and the update starts fine but after running for a short time it gives the error message. Any ideas?

It seems like apt is looking for packages for feisty instead of gutsy. Can you post the contents of /etc/apt/sources.list.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. can you please tell me where to find the contents of the sources list? I searched for it and tried typing it into terminal with no success.

I get the error right after it fetches the files (part of "preparing to upgrade" in the distribution upgrade window.)

You can open /etc/apt/sources.list with an editor or run "cat /etc/apt/sources.list" and you should be able to see the contents of the /etc/apt/sources.list.

Here is what it comes up with if you can make any sense out of it.
