Enable Compiz Fusion on Ubuntu 7.10?
I have tried surfing around trying to get Compiz Fusion to work on Ubuntu 7.10 but have had no luck. I was able to enable the extra features on the desktop through System>Preferences>Appearance>Visual Effects and enable extra. I am new to the Linux world and hoping it works out well because I am tired of Windows, so I really do not know much about what I am doing. I read you have to download compizconfig-settings-manager but I am not seeing it in the Synaptic Package Manager. I wanted to know how I go about getting all the full features of Compiz Fusion to work? Any help would be appreciated.
