edgy nic settings ASAP

Hi,

I am on a company network that has some instability due to recent switch port changes, etc. On a workstation, I want to alter the network settings like 10/100, no flow control, etc.

I am looking at /etc/network/interfaces but I am not sure that is the right file and I do not know the syntax anyway. If anyone has any specifics on this it would be greatly appreciated! Better, if there are any docs floating around that tell you how to isolate the differrent settings, etc. that would be great as well.

Thanks,
Marc
