dvd playback in 11.10

Does anyone know the dvd playback for 11.10? Nothing I've searched seems to work

I got the restricted extras

then sudo apt-get install libdvdread4 worked ok

sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh

Then I get a failed: no route to host or it times out

The mediubuntu link for the last command was functional today so it all works. It wasn't any voodoo on my part.
