I want to dual boot Windows XP and Ubuntu, and I'm a bit worried about doing so as last time I tried to Dual Boot with Suse it mucked partition table and was only able to boot up into Suse and not Windows.
The Ubuntu installer will normally detect you have windows installed and configure itself automatically to dual-boot. Even if it doesn't there are howtos on the Ubuntu help site https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WindowsDualBoot
and plenty of live help on the #ubuntu channel on irc.ubuntu.com (irc.freenode.net)
