Dual boot Ubuntu 8 - Windows 2003 Server Enterprise
hello,
i'm new in ubuntu linux i read to internet that ubuntu is one the most easy linux distro to use and i get it in DVD.
but the probleme is i have windows server 2003 enterprise installed on my PC, i'm starting the ubuntu install process nicely and after the final reboot nothing only this message <cannot mount partion...> when i try to boot ubuntu by GRUB and receive this message <NTLDR missing press Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot ...> when i'm trying to boot windows server 2003.
sincerely i don't know how to do, i can reinstall both O.S but i want to know if the probleme going to be solved or not, want ot know if ubuntu 8 can dual Boot with Windows server 2003.
please help me ...

if you are using a server.....its too risky to go installing anything until you know more. That takes reading and more experiments.
can I suggest that you become more comfortable with booting a linux live cd first?

Another option is re-install Win 2003, and install VirtualBox on it, then run Ubuntu in VirtualBox, and test it out? Just a thought, I use VirtualBox on my laptop to evaluate many OSes, and find it a good way to get a feel of various things in the OS before I use it with any clients!
