Sorry, I don't understand your question. What is "Eurane" and "NAM 1.14"? How did you look for packets? What is your hardware? You see for yourself, as you get no answer, people don't have enough information to help...
Sorry for my unclear question, Eurane is a software package that works in network simulator (ns-2) and cover the UMTS wireless interface (3G mobile network) in Eurane you can simulate the mobile nodes and mobile base station to test your scenario or transmission protocols stream and their applications. Usually when any one simulate a wire/wireless network you can use network animation software (NAM) to visualize the packets stream) , I have noted that after I installed Eurane and do my simulation (it contains a wi-fi part and UMTS part)the packet visualization for wi-fi is very clear but the packet of UMTS part do not show.

Uuups. I'm way out of my depth then. But I'd suggest you trigger a moderator and ask him to move this thread to wireless networking. This is hardly ubuntu-specific or am I wrong?
Hi
It is ok Mr JZL240I-U and I agree you to switch my question in other forum .
Mr Knudfl I appreciate your reply , I will transfer my question to the software forum and by the way my problem is not in Eurane installation , I have installed it well and it works fine , but the problem when I want to visualize the packets animation the UMTS packets do not show, and it is order to say that the wi-fi packets shows very well in the same file (my scripts is to show the handover between UMTS and wifi) also the packets show very well in the wire parts of my topology.
