Hello,
I booted to Ubuntu edgy after a week or so.while booting as usual fsck started checking and informed me that my debian partition(i run debian mainly)needs to be fixed.this is the message thrown out by fsck and fsck exited with error status 1 afaik this means fs errors fixed.but why does it shows 49710 days ?

I am curious too about this message... I have new install of Edgy Eft (about 10 days old) and received a similar message yesterday which forced the check.
