Connection is broken suddenly
Can someone please help me fix my Internet access.
I use Ubuntu/KDE and connect through a wifi router. I've had this configuration for years. Today, I lost all access to the Internet suddenly, while I was browsing.
I can connect to the router with the browser, which rules out any communication problem between the desktop and the router.
I can browse the Web via wifi and the same router with a Palm handheld device, which rules out problems with my ISP.
I rebooted the desktop and the problem persists.
I don't know what else to do. I can't ping anything, it *seems* that the desktop can't resolve, but I am not sure. I replaced the OpenDNS numbers with my ISP default ones in resolv.conf, but that didn't fix it either.
Please advise.
