Configuring the guest user in 8.10

I would like to change some of the firefox defaults for the guest-session in Ubuntu 8.10. I tried just copying a users home directory .mozilla folder to /etc/skel thinking that it would just pull the folder and have the same settings. This did not work however, it appears the the guest-session does not use /etc/skel.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can change the default settings for firefox in the guest-session?

I am also willing to change the defaults for all new users if that is what is needed to change this. Does anyone know where I can change the firefox defaults for all new users?

Thanks for any help,
George
