Computer Hangs After 49.7 Days

Hi all ,

It says that win 95/98 machines wont work for more than 49.7 days continously. my question is , following the lines of above article , does linux distros (ubuntu in particular) have any such issues ?

The mentioned windows versions should be in a museum right now, or even better: be buried on an undisclosed location.
But (almost) everybody knows that win95 and '98 are incomparable to linux.
W95 and '98 are notoriously unstable.
Up to a year ago I ran a server powered by ubuntu9.04 for much longer than a three years, only rebooting it when necessary (in case of a kernel update). My longest uptime was 78 days and a few hours before I had to reboot.
I don't do this anymore, to save energy.
