chkconfig & upgrade fom 9.04 to 9.10


hi,
after upgrade to 9.10 from 9.04 chkconfig tool longer works

:~$ sudo chkconfig pure-ftpd off

I have try to reinstall but nothing it's changed. There are other tool like chkconfig in ubuntu?
