Changing default applications

I was using ktorrent until today when i decided to switch to azureus. I removed ktorrent and installed azureus. Now firefox will not open the .torrent files with azureus. It keep saying

/temp/filename/ cannot be opened because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences.

So i go into the firefox preferences and try to change the association but the only association it has there is for SPL files. It doesnt give me an option to add/change an association.

Any ideas on how I an get .torrent files to open up in azureus?

You can install the "mime type editor" extension for firefox.
That way you can easily change what firefox needs to do with different filetypes
