You may be able to apply this advice (borrowed from Mozilla, but may also work in Firefox):

Then look in /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/<something>.default/chrome, where you will find userCHROME and userCONTENT examples. Edit them, then rename them without the 'example' part of the name (i.e. userCHROME.example.css becomes userCHROME.css).
