change the default login

Hi, I just got done installing the nvidia drivers, and to do that i had to choose console login from the login screen. Things went fine so I did a reboot and now I don't get the option to choose my login it just brings me back to the console login. How can I get back to the graphical login?

Open /etc/inittab and reset the number in the first line back to that for graphical - it should be noted in the file itself.

You could try the following,
Code:
$sudo update-rc.d -f gdm remove
$sudo update-rc.d gdm defaults
$sudo /etc/init.d/gdm start
