cd/dvd automounting problem after replacing dvd-drive (Ubuntu Hardy 8.04)
Hello.
After replacing nearly broken CD/DVD-drive on machine with Ubuntu Hardy 8.04, I've got unexpected problem with CD/DVD automount. With new drive automount works, but inserted DVD mounts (in /media/cdrom0) with 000 access rights, and root.root owner. So no one except root can see disk contents. This kind of problem never happened before (even with previous "nearly broken" drive).
How can I fix that?
Computer specifications:
Amd Athlon 900Mhz "Thunderbird", unidentified "via" motherboard (most likely DFI-AD75), 512 Mb RAm. The new drive is NEC DVD+/-RW IDA AD-7200A-0S, bought yesterday. To me it looks like configuration problem somewhere (probably hal configuration), but I'm not sure where exactly.
OS is Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04, system was updated yesterday.
I've tried to find answer with google, but I've only found mention of a bug on ubuntu feisty ("root takes drive ownership when eject button is pressed). This bug doesn't look like the cause of the problem, because this never happened with two previous drives.
Any suggestions?

Solved by
replacing
Code:
/dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto,exec,utf8 0 0
with
Code:
/dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0 iso9660 user,noauto,unhide,exec,utf8 0 0
in /etc/fstab. udf option is removed, "unhide" added. This is either "mount" bug with udf, or bug with udf support in cd-recorder software used for making those disks.
