Card Reader on Edgy

I have a card reader on my laptop, and for some reason it won't mount my SD memory stick when I put it in it. When I do lspci I get :
Code:
06:06.3 Mass storage controller: Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Integrated FlashMedia Controller
for my Mass storage controller.

Is there a way to mount the Memory stick manually? Or preferrably automatically, since it seems to be installed correctly.
