Cant change Password
hey,
I cant login into my account(my admin account) because for some reason the password is changed. I used ubuntu live cd and I chroot my ubuntu on the hd. when I enter "passwd username" I get : Quote:

when I create a new account with "useradd -m username" and try to set the password with "passwd" I get the same msg: Quote:
thanks, danny. p.s I use "likewise" to login to ldap db and I remember I read somewhere that it can cause problems like this. I dont want to uninstall it and reconfigure it again. |
What does /var/log/auth.log say?
