Can not connect to Internet !!!


I am trying to setup network settings in ubuntu (System - administration - networking) and in mz university the connection is direct cable connection. no username or password. And when activate the eth0 card and save then there is no internet connection.

I also set the it to DHCP and still doesnt work.

????

route -n

and

ifconfig

on ur system

what settings do u use to connect to the internet on windows??
