Can I share packages between machines - Ubuntu 9.04
I'm trying to share the packages from my pc to a recently set-up laptop as I have a very limited internet connection. Both have 9.04 installed on them.
I have tried copying the pc's .deb files from /var/cache/apt/archive and following the steps according to http://forums.remote-exploit.org/bac...ads-times.html - with no success. Apt-get fails to resolve the repository even after changing the source.list file of the laptop. How do I get this to work or is there another way that I should be going about sharing the packages?
