can't login to new POP3 server

Running Ubuntu Breezy Badger and using Postfix and Courier I created a POP3 and SMTP server. After completing the configuration I went to test it with my outlook but when I click test settings it always fails when logging into the POP3 server. But it succesfully sends the test email. Any suggestions?
