Can't find a setting


Where's the setting to NOT display window contents when resizing?

I can't find it...

Sorry about the stupid question.

I'm using ubuntu 6 beta

You are going to have to dig around in gnome's configuration editor for that. Go to Applications > Systme Tools > Configuration Editor ('gconf-editor' from the command line) and navigate to "apps > metacity > general" There should be a setting there called 'reduced resources' which will turn on wireframe resizing, etc...
