Broken SSL certificate on install

I have just installed Ubuntu Gutsy on a spare partition but got a message during installation:
Quote:

Broken SSL certificate. If you don't know what this means, please proceed.
I carried on with the installation anyway. What are the implications of this broken certificate and can I fix it?

The 'Broken SSL Certificate' probably means there is a buggy SSL certificate affected by the faulty Debian OpenSSL. Check out the Ubuntu forums to find out how to download the working version of OpenSSL and the tool which checks keys and certificates to see if they're bad. Also see the discussions on how to generate new certificates and how to update the Ubuntu certificates which may be affected.
