broken ??
 

Hi all


i'm running ubuntu 6.06

i got a msg saying that i have broken software i went to see it from the filter ?? but then what, i dont know what to do

i cant install software i cant do anything before i get this thing fixed ?

Can you post the exact message here, since my crystal ball is broken... Also, post what command you entered, and what software you are trying to install.

As a guess, you may need to run "sudo apt-get -f install" and see of that fixes the problem.

Open Synaptic Package Manager>Click 'Edit'>Click 'Fix Broken Packages'. That should be all you have to do. Synaptic should be able to fix the problem, if not post the error here.

IBall i'm sorry about your crystal ball is broken

i was not doing the right thing i was doing su then apt-get -f install
and i was upgrading when this thing happend
