bootloader problem
Having a problem here that's doing my head in.
I have three disks (hda hdb hdc) in an nvidia raid (fakeraid). Windows is installed on this raid. I've a 4th disk (hdd4)and installed kubuntu on hdd1 as swap and hdd3 as base partition (=mount point "/") When I make a bootloader it installs the loader on hda, but this fails every time when I reboot I get error 21 in grub.
I also tried installing the bootloader on a floppy disk, same result.
It's probably caused by the fact that linux sees three disks instead of one raid disk.
I just whiped out suse because I thought it was time to test ubuntu. Sadly enough I can't find the useful 'boot installed system' tool I have on the suse cd which searches for installed systems and boots them. The suse tool doesnt work to find an ubuntu installation... Is there any way I can solve this because after installation I can never boot ubuntu. Thanks in advance.
