Beryl / AIGLX / Freezes every 7 seconds and continue

Hi guys,

Look, i installed Beryl / AIGLX, it is awsome, BUT, every five to 8 minutes it freezes for about 6 to 10 seconds. And then, it continues like nothing, 8 minutes later... AGAIN.

And so on..

Is someone having the same issue that could give me some ideas on how to fix this little bug?

Hola, (Hi, Joel).

I don't know your Nvidia card version, but, that happened to me with an old Nvidia card (Geforce4 MX 440), and happens to other kind of old cards too. Using the legacy driver instead of the newest fixed the lag pretty well; never appeared again.
