BCM4301 802.11b


is there any hope in hell that i will get my Broadcom BCM4301 802.11b wireless controller to work in ubuntu.

damn, still have not figured out how to get my wifi working in ubuntu. any advice?

OK! I have the same card that you have and here is a detailed walk-through for it to work. Please note...read the first 6 pages for some idea as to how things go on.....
